One fits, and one doesn't
Smiths clusters are the '8000rpm' ones typically found in mk2s. They're also distinctive by being all-white, and have 'odd' speeds marked (10, 30, 50 mph, etc).

Connect the hose to the inlet manifold and it should work.

you need to put a t-piece in the hose that goes between the crankcase and the carb base.. only on a 1.4 though. on a 360 you need to put in a special tapping

You dont need a special tapping! I just connected it to one of the pipes, (ill find out which) and it works a dream!!
