Mac is urgently looking for some transmission mountings.

X2 good ones for the diff beam on a 340 - needed to keep a car on the road.
X2 diff beam and x2 g/box beam mounts in any condition for comparison
purposes (I may have found a source of supply but need OE ones).

I take it you're looking for four times 3293246 rubber cushions (no. 24) , and two times 3293245 rubber cushions (no. 5)?

Scrub, that, I looked again.

Could possibly rustle up a set. I'd need to see. Same as the CVT isn't it?

Even the DAF 66, from memory...

Front small ones - DAF 163222

Big rear ones - DAF 163283

Sorry chaps but the Daf and Volvo ones are not interchangeable.

Mac, are they just for looking or are they also to be hugged to death in one of your tests?

Care to expand on the whys and wherefores then RJ? I only ask, because there must be a reason for them not being interchangeable. Are they the wrong size? Wrong load spec?

RJ can verify....
I beleive the DAF ones are much taller so it may not even have anything to do with the load rating Rich.

I'm wondering how the two rear mounts are magically holding up my transmission in the BB then. I seem to remember digging them out of the box of bits from the dead 66... :? :?
