Speedo Cable
Speedo Cable
Hey guys. Im after a speedo cable, as mine has failed. Spins at the bottom, but does not spin at the speedo end so somewhere in the middle has snapped. Let me know if you have one spare. Cable i need is VDO fitment.

Take a dry slap from me Jon.
Stick the word "speedograph" in the search box top right.
Then listen to his beardness mac.
Then all will become clear as to why no-one so far has bothered answering...

NYA HAAAA!! Thanks Mac. I haven't been as religiously on the forum as I used to be (I am ashamed) so this has passed me by. Thanks though.
All the same HHHOOOOWWW MUCH?! Near £40 posted? I'll stick to knowing that in 4th at 100RPM approx I'm doing around 40MPH etc etc for now, until funds allow.

I didn't know they were being re-made or are they NOS? I just expected them to be about 20 quid not 40.

A smiths one just pushes onto to back of the clocks.
A VDO one screws onto the back of the clocks.

Just a note about speedo cables (still available from Speedograph Richfield).
Yes, I know everybody thinks they're expensive but you get what you pay for. To help in the decision making process I have purchased a VDO version and I find them to be of excellent quality - even including the anti static earthing wire (which the OE version latterly included.
