It's a visual "grunt" of approval. Saves grumbling about lack of interest...
Re: Speedo Cable
Am I the only one who thinks a custom part for less than £40 posted is cheap?!
Help all ye who think the new Leo centre caps will be coming with the cornflakes
I send out parts with significantly less complicated weekly for work and none are that cheap.
Yes, it's £40. But you try making one for less.

Re: Speedo Cable
Just digging this up as I've just fitted one of their Smiths cables.
Rating: 4/5
I've spent quite a bit time swearing at the wheel end of things. Update with some (perhaps lousy) pics within the next few days. Need some grub now.
Hurumph!

Re: Speedo Cable
Not quite. The square is perfectly square. It'll slide half way down the outer end of the drive tube, but not the inner half. There's only a bawhair in it, but it did mean fishing out the Dremel to just take a 1/4 of a bawhair off each side, to make it slide all the way through from the tight side. If the square hole in the drive tube was finished perfectly end-to-end, then I wouldn't of had the issue and it would have been a perfect sliding fit.
