Volvo 940 2.0L turbos with the overdrive box. I've had 3 and they all had dogdish flywheels.

Loads in generic scrapyards, go hunting.

AFAIK they don't need to be turbos, just any 240/740/940 with a lambda sensor but not the M90 gearbox. If you find some let me know because I need 2 myself.
Actually, are either of those DMFs in near perfect shape? I might like one for my 945 seeing as a solid one is hard to get.

I may need an lh2.4 flywheel if these dual Mass one's are what I'm after.

If it's for your 360 then you will need the solid or dogdish ones, that guy I got your loom from never got back to me in the end sm2

That clears things up. But I always had it in my mind that there were 2 types of dogdish, one with the LH2.4 dimple pattern and one without?

That's probably true Speedy, 740s had the same gearboxes but the early ones had motronic, which has a little pin sticking out at TDC, and 2 crank position sensors.

I have a lightened dogdish here which has had all its marks machined off, as it was run on an OMEX system with separate trigger wheel. My OMEX 16VT engine is now going in an auto 760, so I have no use for it unless I can convert my 940 to run a trigger wheel.

You could go with one of these, and use a triggerwheel. Or modify your own pully to accept a triggerwheel. That must be way easier than filling and drilling of the original flywheel. With less change of going wrong, and easy fix if it does go wrong.

does anyone know the pattern for lh 2.4? having reliable mechanical engineers at my disposal its easier and cheaper to get my original flywheel made to suit 2.4, I just need the pattern. and are the holes the same size?
