Hello CBA, I have got one in the roof - its a bit rough on the surface and might have one or two bits missing like the solenoid (yours is 'new' anyway) but I doubt if it has done as many miles as yours (by far!!). I don't think I have the manifold but you can have the carb for the postage. This is for the 1.4 ??

There are 32DIRs and 32DIRs.

What is the reference number on it? Do yo have the Mac guide handy? Seems to be hiding since the move.

Ive had it stripped, cleaned, gasketed, setup, tuned... it keeps 'changing' not holding its settings.
Got some aviation grade liquid gasket.. theres no leaks. its just worn out in various places. Used the book. Thing looked like new new month back.

@Bog
That's Fantastic!

@All:

The main problem is very low-load smoothness, its roughly delivering down at low revs. The carb has never been right really but getting more and more finickety as days pass. It's not awful but annoying and economy is suffering badly, cant get silly mpg by feathering it around in 5th

I'll take the carb!! sm87

PS
got the breather hoses and Tpiece, and the rubber pipe from the airbox?. Have a custom job on there, perfectly workable but not going to last very* long.

If you've got any extra bits: could do with 'a' window winder handle(knob falls off going round corners), couple of low amp fuses(got ton of 16s 8s, want couple of 5,4,2,1amp), dipstick(is loose+is bunged with placcy bag atm), a Dashboard lamp(indicator/brakewarn/beam etc), and two Dashboard clock-illum lamps. errr cant think of ANTYTHING else wrong with it!, all fits in the post.

Parted by Volvo? :mrgreen:
Built by Leyland? sm1

Am I correct?
