got stuck in mud, cops arrived at home... Window has been tished!. Savages round here....
Dunno what the tint is, will photo the remaining rear window's serial etc in the morning. Car is mid/dark silver

Got a few hours leeway from plod, took me to see the damage even!. Got recovery for twenty quid in the end, washed her off. Alls well that ends well. Think I might have the glass sorted...

Took my dogs for a walk, got stuck in surprisingly deep mud. Some personage tished ma window, police told me, Dragged car out(recovery bloke nearly got stuck too), here we are.
To clarify. Desperately need a nsr window for a 5 door.
I'm in Bolton Northwest , upto 'reasonably distant' pickup or post.

can I pick up the parts, sunday/tomorrow? it's really quite imperative.
Let me figure out the mileage coz I fancy a decent drive.. Can get the other bits too.

Hello CBA, of course you can pick them up tomorrow if you really want to do the journey!! Don't overdo it though!!!! If I'm out, I'll just leave the door and other bits somewhere you can pick them up easily. If you can get to me before 3 pm the door will be in leafy Surbiton.... I'll PM my mobile now.

I can manage it, planned a day out anyway and I'm over-rested. Needed an excuse to fit my 'superior' oil filter too(superfine filter+pressur relief valve+one way valve+oversized), and I'll find out if the engine internals are failing or its just the ancillaries wearing out. Thinking it could be the new fanbelt flapping around+needs retentioning after breaking in period..

Car runs better than ever, really pokey low down after its jaunt.

Tacho works! This engine is ticking over at a little under 500rpm, and it's steady!

Not the easiest window fitting in history.
The rivet+seals.. What a ballache! Given me a headache but the glass is in the door, just how to get the seals in..
The force needed on a screwdriver to get the runner-bar out was ridiculous.

Got window done, just short of a pair of rivet pliers and about 5 dash bulbs are dead.. Motorway wiped three out.
Wiring up the timeclock as I speak and I'm basically done.

I thought the heater illumination was disconnected: ALL the bulbs have popped in fact.
It goes through profoundly more bulbs than any other 300 I've had.
