Left front wing trim moulding - 3278489

Post by volvo300 » 14 Jan 2015 08:17 pm

Hi.
As I carry on restoring my R-sport I'm in the need of a left front wing trim moulding.
Does anyone have a new part that I can buy?
The Volvo PN is: 3278489

I hope that someone can help me

Regards.
Peter

I might be able to help - that number comes up in my parts list. I'll have a look this evening ...

Cheers

Part numbers are everything :-) And the name of the banana box it's stored in ;-)

Hi Tom.

Great to hear.
I will be looking forward to hear from you.
If you have the trim moulding, I will buy it from you right away ;-)

BTW: You are right about the "bananabox".
I have an excel sheet containing all the parts (partnumbers) which I have. It tells me which part, condition, quantity and where to find it in the Volvo parts manual.

Regards.

Here's the part (upside down!):

I'll send you an email ...

Excel is the only way to do it :-) Years later I wouldn't have a clue where my bits are otherwise ...

Cheers

I'm all for excel sheets.
I use it in my daily work as an electronic hardware engineer.

But I also have some boxes where some good stuff has been placed, and when I sometimes go through these boxes..... I find GOOOOLD... :D

Att Tom: I have received your e-mail and the trim looks just like it should.
