I'm on the hunt for 2 front shock absorber rubber concertina thing that lives on the inside the front springs and over the shox vehicle in question is a 340 1.4 1988 2 of theses would be extremely helpful. Mucho appreciado….

Hey man, they're usually fairly knackered by the time you get them off (!) but I would have thought that a custom car parts supplier could help with a generic rubber gaitor or two that would fit.

Got a spare pair of struts that have these on, will need to check condition of them, as bogbasic says they don't survive very well.
