The drum measurements look almost right but would need double checking.

You only need one flexi hose for the rear axle.

I doubt you will get a replacement back plate new so you will have to get them off a car being broken or make new ones.

mine are 203 mm and will either have to have back plates made or convert to discs (around £500) but that what you get buying a 1981 wreck .

There you go

203mm drums.

I paid more than that for my 228mm so you won't get them much cheaper.

As for the back plates Dai might have a 340 in for breaking or Bogbasic on here knows of two 300 series local to him being scrapped he might be willing to get the back plates for you if you ask nicely wether they fit though is another question as they might have the 228mm drums.

thanks for that , ABS is a brand name and not anti-lock ? , may be a stupid question but I am new to these. As for the back plates I would be very grateful and willing to compensate as necessary , meanwhile back at the rust monster work continues with the engine strip . thanks for the trouble taken.

I have a pair of back plates for the 1.4 rear drums.
Need a good wire brush up but other than that they are fine, will need to double check

that would be great because a disk conversion was going to hit my build budget HARD.

These are for a 360 and not for a 340.
