I'm looking for a control panel for the electric mirrors / windows and heated seats. I don't want the panel from a 740, it must be a panel for the 300 series

Because......... For the 740, the design is a little bit different and there's a switch that I don't need cause it didn't exist on the 300 series (the switch on/off for the heated seats)

Panel that I want:

Panel that I have (from a 740, could be good but I can't add switches, no place for that

not *all* 7/2/8/900s had that middle switch afaik, you might find one without

The middle switch is the cut-out for the rear electric windows Aymat!! The only difference between the 300 series panel and the other are that the 7/900 series ones had a white ring around the rear window switches.

Do you need it to have the switches in it? If not, I can get one anytime. Getting one full of switches might be a little tricky. Windows / Heated seats is easy though - mirrors are a little rarer.

cheers

I don't need the switches, just the panel, a REAL Volvo 300 panel

Well that's easy then!! Why don't you just get any old one out of the scrap yard?

Because you forget that I'm not in UK!

Heated seats was RARE here compared to UK  ; same problem for the electric mirrors >> no panels in the scrap yard  And at this moment, there are only "basic" Volvo 340 with no extras.

Surely you just take the blanks out of the panel?!

Of course but not for the extra switch (rear windows on the 700 series), the blank must be there

i think he means - why dont you get a full panel, and just swap the blank for the one on your current panel?

i'll look into getting them. maybe. how hard was it to fit the mirrors?

I think the problem is that *some* panels (mainly very old ones) don't have the cutout/blank arrangement - they're solid....but they're also very rare!

Do most 300s in France just have a storage bin / no centre console there?

cheers

That's it... :(

I have found a perfect panel but....... without the blanks as you said! (there are only switches for the mirrors)
