1.4 Instrument panel

Just on the off chance and before I start the trolling round the breakers.....

I need an instrument panel and surround (speedo/clock, light switches etc) for a 340 1.4 1987

The milemeter in one of my 340's stopped working and the previous owner attempted a DIY repair - not only did he break the flange on the clock unit but also messed up the surround. He then stuck it all back togther with gaffer tape. After all that it still doesnt work!

The current clocks stopped working at 17K - the previous owner estimates the mileage is at 40K which seems about right considering the condition of the car - though the condition of the unit is more important than the mileage shown

I will post a picture this evening when I get home from work.

Not sure whether these are Smiths or VDO.

In addition to the clocks I need the whole surround that also houses the main lights/heated rear window switches to the right of the steering wheel

You've got VDO's:

I'll have a look through teh VDO ones. I've got a feeling teh lowest milage one would be a bout 60,000 ish from what I remember.

I do not think I have any of teh surrond parts though

I guess that I could just replace the speedo unit for the time being and tidy up the surround till I can locate all of the parts.
