Get in contact with volvo360gls, he did have a green shell, but there's not much left of it! Why change from a 4 door? They're just as pimp imo ;)

EDIT: check out the offers section, someone is selling a 360GLT 3 door but it needs a gearbox.

they are, i just want a three door to experience the all-hyped stiffness that apparently makes all the difference :)

I need a new shell - there's pics going up soon of mine, you may see what i mean - i got chunks missing on the front valance, and a floorpan that threatens to fail an MOT next time, amongst other things. Its new shell time, and i thought i might as well go hothatch

PLUS when you only have two doors you only need two seats. AND you dont get plauged by lift needers - my car's too low to fill with 4 people, but *normal* dont understand this for some reason and beg which is not pretty.

cheers for letting me know, ill have a quick shufty in a bit

TBH... the saloon will be stiffer than the 3 door as it hasn't got a massive hatchback opening! I think you used the right word when you said hyped ;) I've driven 3/4 and 5 doors and to be honest I don't think there's any appreciable difference in terms of body stiffness.

If your car is rusty then I can see your point about finding a new shell, but I'd not go out searching specifically for a 3 door if all you're worried about is stiffness (although they do look rather cool!)

I'll get yer pics up later today :)

I was thinking about that, I'm pretty sure a saloon ought to be stiffer on principle, but tbh with stock rear suspension you have bigger problems to contend with than a bit of chassis torsion.

I'd just get the one you like the look of most or the one thats cheapest.

i have a g reg 3 door 1.4 340 if you want it, it has mot and tax so you can drive it away and it is stripped completely, it has a dent in the drivers door and pillar though - if you're interested i can take some pictures, and it';s in blue aswell.
