I have a Starter from a R19 if your struggling, But the should be a scrappy in cardiff somehwere that has one as they are very common, found in anything from 340 1.7 to volvo 400 series to many renaults (Clio, Early Lagunas) same starter accross the range (apart from diesel) the later ones are smaller to.

alright mate, found a gezza on egay who'l do flywheel + starter for 70 bucks which doesn't seem bad? will propb ring a motor factors tho just incase new parts are reasonable.

still worth trying a scrapy for the parts i paid £20 for a good Clio starter,

Euro car parts wanted £110 for a new one exchange!

If you are going from a 1.7 you can use the flywheel and starter from that, Flywheel is heavier tho
