I have a 340 2 door GL 1.7 registered 1988. The car has covered
only 24,000 miles from new!!!!!!!!!! I am looking to take it to Spain
next year and leaving it there to use on a permanent basis.
In order to meet Spanish requirements for re-registering I need to
purchase a set of front head lights from a car in europe.
Can anybody help please?
many thanks,
John.........

you might want to try the French forum,
or alternatively, the dutch V3C website.
MKIII (H4 bulbs) headlights with decent reflector should be available from around 50 euro/set.

Or you might like to contact this chap:

If you don't already have a Euro account it's best to ask if the seller takes PayPal. The bank charges from pounds to euros are prohibitively high otherwise ...

Have you found your headlamps yet John? There's a set on Ebay France at the moment:

Failing that, I've got a used around headlamp somewhere, I'd have to check which side though if you're interested.

the lamps on ebay are quite expensive really...
I have found a set (L+R) in my storage. Will have to check their condition, though.
at what date are you crossing the channel?
