A few bits for an 88 340 DL

Hi,

I need a rear light cluster (or just the reversing light lens) near side, a plastic blanking plate thingy, next to the handbrake and either a complete lowering kit (2-3") or just the blocks or front springs/dampers.

I'm also on the look out for a light blue nearside rear door, in good condition, as some kind soul has driven into mine

Cheers,

Malc

You might want to look on ebay, as there are a couple cars being broken at the moment. Also you could try contacting Foggy on these forums as he's going to be breaking a car soon. Have a look in the calendar section

Thanks MJ, I've sent a message to one of the cars on Ebay, in North london, but haven't got a reply yet.

I might have a free one for you in Bristol - you'll have to collect - if you're interested let me know and I'll chase it

Thanks Ronnie, that's a very kind offer :) Unfortunately, with a 6 month old daughter, I barely have time to work on my car, let alone travel to Bristol

Cheers anyway.

p.s I did my bike test in Bristol, many years ago, in a place I think was called Hambrook?

Will a 360 screen fit my 340? :?

Yeah - I know how you feel! Yes, the 360 screen will fit the 340 just fine

I've got the screen sorted, so now just require a N/S rear light cluster and a N/S front bumper bolt cover.

Thanks, Malc.

Doesn't Steve have a N/S rear light cluster for sale?

Yes he does, but it's a new one at £40, and as I only paid £150 for the car, a second hand one will do :)

I see your point. The purchase price will always be the lowest cost in "300 motoring". Fill 'er up twice and you've already doubled your outlay ;-)

Brand new lights (front and rear) do improve things safety-wise though. They make the car look a bit newer too ...
