hello all,

does anyone have a spare idle solenoid i could borrow (returned promptly) or buy. a known working one would be ideal but one rattling about in unknown condition would be ok too.

Im not sure wether this will be of any use to you but when my idle solenoid stopped working i just cut the plastic tip of it with some snips.

This has made my car run much better with a smooth idle. Also the car does not run on after you turn it off. So i hav'nt even bothered looking for a new one because its working better than ever.
