Carb from a 1.7 440

Post by cheshire190e » 11 Oct 2008 10:43 pm

I know this is the wrong place to post for this but as its for my 340 i think its worth a shot.

Its been confirmed the cab from a 1.7 440 will bolt straight onto a 340 with no modifications needed.

So does anyone have one or know of somewhere i could get one :)

Cheers

Best chance will be scrappies I reckon. I've seen a few chavs driving 400 series cars so there should be plenty written off soon.

I've been half looking for one whenever I get a chance to go to the scrappies, I'm intrigued to see what it'll do too, but havn't come across any. I'm guessing they are vaguely rare.

If you find somewhere that does jets for the carb, I have the numbers here for the ones needed.
