Hello all!
Im new and handsome so gather round and listen to my hypnotising geordie drawl for a minute ...........................................................
youre feeling sleeeeepy, very very sleeeeeeeeeepy.

Ive just become the owner of a 340 and im looking to put some apprpriate alloy wheels underneath it.
Having a bit of carry on finding something reasonable looking at a reasonable price that'll fit.
Am I being unreasonable?

Ive seen a few 340s in the galleries on five spokes that look really nice but cant seem to find any whith the correct fitment malarkey.

I would buy someone a pint of beer to point me in the right direction.
Ten pints if youll sell me a set.

Im also looking to lower ther car slightly but cant find any kits that are appropriate. It it just a case of cutting the spring down? any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

AAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand youre back in the room. (clap!)

I shall direct you to my handlily place thread here:

;)

If you want some cheaper alloys, I might have some more sets lying round, I'm working out what I want to keep!

The lowering stuff is still in my garage too.

Genius!
Get that man a drink.
Could you send me pics of the whells please mate?
I would have to ship them up im affraid if I like the look of them, courier most likely. Too many petrol pennies do drive from Toon to the south coast. Though the car does need a good run.
Probly have the spring kit aswell, for an outragously and breathtakingly low combined asking price.
Got to try, havnt you?!

Double cheers my new friend.

Pics of the Taurus ;) Postage would be.. interesting I'd imagine, we can try using the standard V3M parcel delivery service... There's a meet at the end of the month, if anyone is coming from where dragons be from then might make life easier.

Could be a plan. I'll have a check into couriers prices just in case. sure ive seen private setters quoting 20-25 quid for nationwide courier-ing nationwide.
Though I may have dreamed it.
Which is quite depressing.

So cheer me up and quote me a price for the wheels and the kit and I'll see if i can stretch to it before I get all carried away and arrange delivery.

Many chanks.

I think it cost £35ish for 4 canis alloys I got posted from Adam a while ago.

I *may* go to the ace on the 23rd, if I do I'll be happy to bring them up as far as the Tyne tunnel, maybe even the silverlink.

woah. At this rate I'm going to be skint from buying fellas drinks, but thank you very much for your kind *possibly an* offer mate. That would be appreciated. Give out a whisper you know for sure if you're attending or not and I'll get them paid for using modern technology.
Many thanks again all.
Three cheers for this amazing forum and all who sail in her!
Hip hip....................

Cheer FJ!

VND, do you want me to sort out getting the wheels off the island to a point of actual civilisation? I've just realised the Ace Cafe is next weekend!

Would be great if you could burden FJ with them at the Ace. If he goes And if you go.
Might be getting a bit ahead of myself though.
The cars in with a spanners-man over the weekend for to have things i dont understand done to it. Something about the noisy part at the front or something?

Anyway, once ive got it back on mon, and once ive seen what the damage to my manhood is, i'll let you know for sure.
Hope this is acceptable????
Cheers for all your helping.

I'll be there unless the vario belts snap. They've been squealing a bit.
Went to the ace a few weekends ago (and beaulieu after we met up with bazboy by pure chance!) and it's pretty cool. It was all bikes when we went but still had a good vibe, should be really good with like-minded car nuts about.
Anything else anyone wants moving about while I'm on?
