My f7r 340

Hi im new here and to volvos. Iv just bought myself a 2.0 f7r megane engine that im gona put in my volvo 340

Iv been playing with cars since i was 14 years old at the moment i have a civic esi with 40mm gsxr throttle bodies on fully built high comp bottom end light head work and a stage 3 zex cam with hondata s300 ecu and direct port nitrous for that bit of extra grunt lol link for the video is below

I decided it was time to get a 340 after watching some videos of the valver 340's. One of my best mates has had 1.8 and a few 2.0 valver clios so i no my way around these engines quit well. Done a fair bit of research and thought sod it i want a valver 340

The strange thing is as of today i still havent found a 340 lol but yet i have allready got my engine. I paid £21.00 for a half stripped f7r megane engine complete minus the gear box result. All looks well gona do a mild rebuild on the bottom end have the head skimmed FIT A 1.8 16V dizzy as the megane ignition is c**p and either bike carbs or throttle bodies once iv had it running for a while. Iv learnt from my civic whats invloved with bike carbs and itb's Its a mission but the sound is great.

Like i said im new to volvo's i no i need to get a volvo b4 work begins lol and need to source all the 1.7 parts i need if i cant find a 1.7 340 but any advice and parts would be very much appreciated i will put some photos of the engine on once it decides to stop raining cheers guys

Depending on what it needs for an MOT I would say around £300-£400
