Think you may have to join the line bud.
It's round the corner now though

Not my cup of tea but they sure seem popular :?

yep there up on the shelf next to th tartan paint , flying pigs and rocking horse shit

A while ago I contacted autoplas who made these babies and they were surprised that anyone would still want them needless to say , the moulds no longer exist.

they do occaisionally come up on ebay for other cars ( I believe theres one for a BX on there now ) but havent seen a 300 one for some time , could Marcel not get copies made as I think they would sell rather well

80's tat is very in fashion at the moment
back in the day I had one of these on my mk3 cortina and one on my skoda estelle

i own one of the 5 known sets in holland, as far as i know, there is one for a mk3 sedan and is on a sedan diesel, 2 for a mk3 hatch (including one of mine) and 2 for a mk2 hatch.

the picture you used is from my louvres actually, we tried it on the 360 glt of francois, to see how it would look including the glt spoiler that i now own aswell

finding other louvres will be extremely difficult, and fabricating a mould is practically impossible. the mould needs to be a plastig injection mould to look like the original, the material is barely 1,5mm thick! the cost of a mould that large will be around 80.000 euro's, and then you still have to run a machine to make them..

the bad news is, that the a very high majority of the louvres got taken to the junkjard in the early 90's... if they only knew

Oh well, never mind.

We'll just have to keep our eyes peeled round the scrap yards!

I heard a story a while back, that these things were illegal in the UK cos they restricted the rear view......... or something like that.

You see plenty of cars over here with them on though - I'd imagine they help keep the sun off.

I will ask at Perth Swedish Auto Centre, and keep my eyes peeled.

if that's so than about 70% of the vans without a rear window are illegal aswell..
