Volvo 340 SLOT for trunk

Hey all. im kinda new to this site, but im glad there is a site about
this great car i have...
you got my trunk and my "slot" the slot cylinder actually fell out and got lost.
very sad.
im trying to find a complete new slot or a cylinder that i can configure for my key.. or any solution at all.

I tried the demolition belt of volvo but they said it was too old to find any parts for my car. and i cant afford me to buy a new complete slot at a volvo garage. so what im looking for is a complete slot (or a configurable cylinder) for my volvo 340 DL

common problem - happened to one of my cars and its the 2nd time i've seen it on here. your best bet is to get a FULL set of locks from a scrapyard, as otherwise you'll have 2 keys

I dont mind about having two keys...but a whole set, thats just the problem
the scrapyard hasnt got any parts for such an "old" volvo (16 years btw)
or is he lying? wont any total trunklock from another volvo fit ?

where are you based?

various scrapyards have various 300s in over time, they are getting less common though.

there is a redline on ebay (have a look in different posts on here) which is currently breaking - email him and ask for the lock barrel/key.

but it turned out that the guy form the scrapyard is a racist!
man big bummer...

i went to another scrapyard and they had like 5 volvo's
4 with trunkslot but only 2 with a key
anyways i have one now. they have more stuff i wanted to buy but i didn't had the tools nor the money

tomorrow i will go back there and get me a front grill, en many more little things to "upgrade" my volvo!

i saw 4 volvo 300 so if you need a spare part
i suggest you go there.... i dunno much about this forum
but i live in belgium and the scrapyard is located near leuven.

i saw half an engine block,.. stuff like that actually i believe you can find any part you want. and its not expensive ...
30€ got me: anti sunlight thingy for passenger... astray for backseat, coat for headrests, the glas for the front right, slot for the handglove, plastic thngy for the reverse light, slot for trunk! and a front grill... they were even so kind to lend me their tools to strip the parts of

but if you live in belgium and your searching for a specific part
just tell me what to look for and ill go have a look aye!
