360 front suspension leg

While cutting the springs on my 360 the n/s spring cup fell off, yes fell off due to massive corrosion! So the car is sat on its bump stops.

So I need a replacement strut/hub/leg/whatever you call it, the bit the hub is attached to and the damper insert sits in. Anyone got a pair I can buy as the other side look bad too.

The spring cups are still available from NOR / Klokkerholm but need to be welded onto the strut IIRC ... Contact your local motor parts place, or Hadrian / Beavers if that's an option ...

The part no (for both NOR and Klokkerholm) is 9005430 and are called "Front spring support, lower"

i just replaced mine, they are about 8 quid each inc vat, i just got a mate to mig them on. to remove them i just got a center punch and tapped in the cup till it fell off. then filled the leg untill there was only the 'shoulder' of weld left that the originals sat one. then just migged them on.
make sure you mark the alignment so they fit on the right way again!
