340 Manual Steering Alternator Bracket

after the part of the alternator bracketry off a manual steering equipped 340/440 that is used for tensioning the belt.

banana kind of shape, slotted for the adjustment

its for fitment to a clio with an f7p engine in it, i have no experience of volvos so kinda hoping someone knows what i'm on about

You can use one form a volvo 400 series inc the ones with PAS ( i do!)

thats a different style tho isnt it? do you run it with the left hand brackt on the pic on an f7p lump?

the block is the same across the 1.7 340 and then the f serives and some of the B series 400 engines IIRC. so all will fit and bolt on.

thanks for the info mate, unfortunately it seems they are like hens teeth, no one has one

is there a member on the forums who breaks a lot of volvos or carries lots of spares, a parts guru or such? theres a few on the clio forums i'm used to so hopefully similar on here?

i'll see what my man has tomorrow. as im no where near my parts bin, ebays full of them though 400 stuff anyway.
