new to the forum but an old hand with classic/interesting cars.

Ive decided a 340 would be a good idea a 1.4 ideally. Midlands ish based would be good, but will travel a bit, but what have you got?

PM me or reply to the thread if you have anything to offer please. With a bit of tax and test would be nice, ive not got a huge budget but again, depends what the car offered is

hehe, on another note, in the search for the right 340 thought i would get an insurance quote..........

TPFT at 116 quid. not bad. Less than my mk4 cortina but more than my 2CV van.

Welcome and nice one with that kinda quote! There are a few popping up, best places to check are here, the Volvo Owners Club, Pistonheads and ebay, maybe even Car and Classic!

Would a variomatic be of any use to u?

if it were a vario matic i would want it to be cheap

as id prefer a manual.

Well, i think ive gone a completely different direction, insted of the 340 i was looking for i seem to have bought a daf 44.

So thanks for all the offers. I may still be into a 340 or 360 sometime soon. but for now, money is gone on this Daf Variomatic. Im either mad or insane or both.
