DESPERATE boot lock and key

hi guys im absolutley desperate for a complete boot lock and key as mines been shagged for ages,anyone near me ever done one of these before have a look for me for a beer or two ?

There are loads of scrappies offering bits for a V300 on Ebay ATM, have you tried contacting them? There may be a difference between MkII and MkIII rear locks so go for one of the later ones ...

Probably, my mate's mum's V340 used to that back in the day (and it wasn't that old). Gear knob used to come off it as well. T'was a bit of shed.

yep barrel comes out with key,but also the lock latch wont lock on slamming it?so im having to tie it from inside

move the catcher in the boot up; only 2 bolts. check if the nuts on the lock in the bootlid are tight and see if it will lock then.
and if the cylinder comes out with the key then there is a small black holding pin out; easy replacement. i've seen pics of it before but cant remember if that's on the V3M or V3C forum.

Have you pulled taken the catch of yet, once you do that its clearer to see what needs to be done

ok as mc CHUDD kindley sent me one over its all very clear to me now,i can see where the pins missing and know a very small ring screw(the type you would hang a net curtain to)fits in there perfectly so once its a little bit warmer i shall sort it!
