Mk 2 GLT alloy wheels - Leo? After 1

Post by workshopmanualman » 28 Feb 2010 04:58 pm

Hi,

last year I home refurbished 4 of the Leo alloys. They looked good, so I put 4 new tyres on.... but somehow one came lose and got trashed. So now I have three, and my car - 360GLT saloon - looks crap with a mix of alloys and steel. So, in South London has anybody got a spare Leo [I think that's the one] they want to dispose of for a collection of beer tokens? Obviously the rim has to be round, but a bit of corrosion I can deal with.

By the way, the home refurb took ages to do, and I got sick of it in the end. However, one winter on and the rims still look pretty good - so it can be done; you don't have to splash £75 per rim. Indeed the paint only cost me £6 as I bought 12 old tins bulk off eBay.

Cheers.

EDIT: can't find it any more... :(
But I know for sure I have seen it last time I checked ebay....

Can't find it either!

I'm not sure how much it would cost to post a rim in the UK, hence my south London request. Willing to pay postage as well...

Not desperate for one, just think that having steelies on the back and GTL alloys on the front is a bit naff.

Cheers

Ideally I just need the one rim, but if somebody has a full set to sell and they don't want to split.... Otherwise I'll just go to full steelies and be done with it.
