1.7 Bellhousing *SORTED NOW*

Post by filthyjohn » 25 May 2009 10:59 am

Hi all,
I shattered my bellhousing on saturday, don't know how, possibly a mashed clutch plate. I'll pull it apart this evening and report back with pictures.
Who can sort me out with the bits this week?

Cheers,
John.

Come on folks, who's stashing all the bellhousings? I can manage with just the front half or one with a knackered bearing, as I have a good clutch shaft/rear section here. Really need to get this thing back on the road sharpish before I do what I usually do in this situation and buy another car!

Besides, I'm all stocked up with that sort of bellhousing, with the new girlie on the scene. The lord giveth me one good thing, the lord taketh away my other good thing.

Can you get it to me by friday morning? International postage tends to be no worse than domestic. Let me know ASAP dude.

There's a 1.7 in a scrappy near Solihull if you can get down to it?

Not a bad idea that. I'll do it when I've actually got storage space for parts.

A bit far for me really. Anyway I have to remove the engine and box now due to the amount of damage so I guess there's no real hurry any more.
