Chesh740R, the outdoor one was good when I went there using their standard 75mph+ twin engined karts.

I Must admit i last went to Daytona about 6-7 years ago.

My comments were based on the opinion of one of my mates who i went with, he's an ex karting champion. (used to beat Jenson Button Regulary before his parents buisness went bust and he couldnt continue)
He said it was a great track, but the carts they let us out in at the time were pretty underpowered for the tarmac surface. I guess they've changed it since then.

We then went to a Indoor place in steveange and it was great, the karts were about the same power but the surface allowed a lot more tail out action which is what i like.

As for where i work, for the time being its for BP at Witan Gate House in the Centre. Allthough BP's Slowly relocating everyone out of there, including me. I'm just winding up the accounts for our sold off division and then a new job and complete change of career beckons for me.

You'll see mine usually going through MK very fast as i'm often late for work, or that i just cant resist the race tracks that the Dual Carriageways and Roundabouts so wonderfully provide.

and with any luck i'll have my estate back on the road soon, so that might be terroising the streets of MK again.

Be interested to see if you have seen me going about the place.

Those 700s of yours looks really nice, well build with very good taste :)

I would love to come, but Finland, it is rather long trip from here, maybe 3000km or something, lol.

Just to clarify....

I couldn't see on the face of it why anyone would specifically ask for a large pic of a fairly normal GLT (albeit with rare alloys), whereas Special's avatar is an unsual image which might be the sort of thing to add to the collection. I dunno....something about wording of the request drove me to check! No offence meant to Steve, and apologies if any was taken - I have several pics of his car, and the side shot was my wallpaper for a while - I just thought it was more likely that 360 degreez was asking for the cartoon 340!

As for MK....I take nothing back

cheers

Nah none taken, it was a bit of a wind up ;) I just wondered how I got bought into something random  I also thought he meant specials avatar rather than mine! Who knows...

Chesh.. the TurboR is looking superb with them alloys... them rare Polaris wheels I've heard about on both of your cars, there must be envy about ;)

I was just looking at the Beaulieu (still have to check the spelling) website and it looks pretty good, and also better than Gaydon! We'll see how the voting goes ;)

At least I didn't mention car parks! ;) Speaking of which...I drove into uni the other day, and on leaving (it was wet) flicked the tail towards the Chancellors S-Class....hope he didn't see, or that's me down for a 3rd...

There's a story behind the Polaris rims...everyone was (without telling each other) getting ready for a bidding war. Meanwhile, Chesh sets off for the south coast in the 460 Derv with cash in his pocket....these are the devious ways necessary to achieve boostly greatness :)

cheers

Hi Chesh , both cars look great (prefer the estate personally )not sure which way you come into MK from but I live on the far western side of the city and try to avoid Childs Way which is the road in from the main road from the M1 to the city .(usually use the A5 and A508 to get access to M1 at J15 )coz of my job , I only travel twice a week (early Monday morning and Friday afternoon ) otherwise your probably at work when I'm about. we will have to meet up sometime (lunchtime drink at wetherspoons perhaps ).

I didn't register a vote for you for the Pod Mick! That was Will's vote, but I removed the Pod since I think we collectively decided to go later in the year - definitely a very good suggestion though!

Another Vote for MK....this is gonna be close. Keep on voting folks!

Yes, as far as I know I did. Dates are the next step, which we should probably start talking about. What are the parameters - in the school holidays / out of holidays? A weekend presumably - any day better than another?

Let us know!

I suspect Sunday will indeed be the day of preferance for this very reason. What do others think?
