Hi Vince,

I don't use the spax springs because they are very soft. The ones I do work out cheaper and can be made to any stiffness you want.

Sorry if it's off topic, but would a 4 branch made for a b172 fit an f7p? AFAIK it's the same block isn't it?

^^^ Different head though , so it wouldn't fit. Williams manifolds are tubular 4-1 affairs.

Renault very thoughtfully put a nice 360 degree joint after the manifolds on the F7P/R, which makes it very easy for RWD applications. The downpipe needs shopping about a bit to miss the steering column though. A tubular mani to suit the conversion would be good, as the williams one starts to be a limitation above 160hp or so. A simple copy of the commonly available supersprint 4-2-1 for clios would be a good start, and probably a good seller.

If the numbers are there I could have them ready for exactly that by the end of summer.

Put me down for one then. I've been very tempted to chop up the clio supersprint I have here, but I'm too worried about ruining the flow, and they're worth money intact.
