I'm in the process of renewing all of the cloth covered fuel hoses on my 360 to cure a fuel leak and the strong smell of petrol every time I fill up.
I'm working on the pipes around the fuel filler pipe at the moment and one of them that exits under the car has a check valve in line. I've taken this out and it does provide more resistance in one direction than the other, however the seal isn't perfect and I can slowly blow air through it. Is this normal or should I try to get a better valve from somewhere?
