Yellow Volvo long trip

Hello!
According to some advise I get from you I like to share some fotos from my trip in june.
My wife, my Volvo 343 DL 1980, and me went to wild trip around the Scandinavia.
It was 7080 km long ride. Car is almost 30 years old but it went wery well. No technical problems, except that I could fix myself.
Here is the route plan:

Long straight roads reminds Canada

Gleciers by the roads

Fjords alongs the roads or roads along the fords

U-Valleys with roads in the bottom

Tunnels in rocks - 24 km long with small car parks inside

High mountines

Danger curves

Lot of water

And lot of snow sometimes

Lot of Volvos everywhere

Lot of goats sometimes

Wild camping everyday


Lot of nice places for camping

And lot of scary places

more or less scary

very nice roads on Lofoten

"Your car is your kitchen"

What can I say 343 is the car you can trust

Almost everywhere you went seems to be beautiful.

My wife and I completed a similar trip last year in our 850. 8000 miles, 11 countries. Only repair was a headlamp bulb!

Hi mate.
This is inspiration.I want my mk1 back on the road ASAP.It is yellow like yours only it is a 345dl and has a new
Foggy nose cone.I can't wait to get driving it again.It is nearly ready for its MOT.An MOT is much more
difficult in N.Ireland than the rest of the UK as everything is computerized.
Well done with the trip.

What happened to this lamp? Did you hit animal?

Hello again,

i have already made another trip.
Together with my wife we went with Volvo to Vilnius in Lithuania.
Here is the route:



About 2500 km. No technical problems.
