So far so good. Considering its only a 1.0  it doesn't seem too underpowered and it seems very chuckable after the Vario. On the downside it doesn't have much in the way of creature comforts but as it seems to do about a million miles to the gallon I'm not complaining. In fact, I quite like it :D

The only pics I have so far are the ones from when it was advertised on the Car and Classic website, the link is below. The car is exactly as per the pics except its now slightly cleaner having just been fully valeted.

Dude, that doesnt count.
Its your car now. You have to park it in front of a METRO sign somewhere and take your own.

its a moral imperative.

By the way VND, the 340 on your avatar (or whatever its called) has a very similar registration to one I owned until last year. Mine was B56NLP - its not my old car is it?

Pete Denton, thats the guy. I sold it for the same reason I'm selling the Vario now - to make room for other stuff. This time its the Metro, last time it was the Yugo (and the Trabant). My wife doesn't mind how often I change my car but I always have to sell one to buy one.. :(

I have a tip, get some toy cars and sell toycar when you get real car, she will never figure out the difference, it is a car so that should work, right?

It is indeed very frustrating when you can't get a nice collection of exciting cars, but of course this way you can drive with all cars you have, with four, there is only so much time you can spend driving with them so some start to suffer from lack of use.

^^^^^Agreed Dude. Well said.

and we would end up with one person (Ian) with ten amazing cars. and someone else (me) with none.

So i think the system we have, of passing them around, is actually working very well.

Thanks for taking such good care of it Ian. :D

Well, one week into Metro ownership and a muppet in a red Astra decided to reverse into my offside rear 1/4 panel. To add insult to injury he said it was nothing to worry about as its only an old car and not worth bothering about. I tactfully pointed-out that its an old car with 29k on the clock and was in virtually as-new condition until he decided to re-arrange the back end. He said his mate would repair it for £50, an offer I obviously declined..

I had two estimates from garages I'm happy to use, one for £220 and the other for £150. He agreed to pay and offered me £120 which is what his mate said it would cost to repair even though he hasn't even seen it !!! He had a change of heart when I tactfully dropped into the conversation that my wife is a police officer and based at his local station. He's now going to give her the full £150 when she calls-in to see him on Friday...

Today's big problem, people don't respect to other's property.

Hopefully you get the money and retard learns that age of car does not matter, repair cost won't be cheap
