Does anyone know if there are modern plane engines that are something like Messerscmitt or Merlin of WW2?
While inside of house I did heard an airplane, but when it flew over I could hear definetly some proper ww2 era v12 sound, however at time I managed to get out I could not see anything.
But in here such planes are really rare if none at all flying so this brings up question that there certainly must be some more modern more common plane type which uses such engine?
Any modern airplane engines in Inline or V-form?

There was the Seaburn international airshow this weekend.
Maybe it was an old bird headed to or from there that flew over your house.
About 200 flew over mine.
Even a Vulcan.
Sweet.

Hmm, that is highly unlikely, why there would be anyone of them flying in this high of Finland when event took place in UK?volvosneverdie wrote:There was the Seaburn international airshow this weekend.
