I think the stud spacing is different, but can someone tell me if these:

as far as I remember its only the 400 series volvo alloys that fit , the s40 dos have a different stud pattern

you can also fit some vauxhall ,seat ,skoda and vw rims but be carefull , the stud pattern is 4X100 so mark 1 and 2 golf rims fit but not GTI ones

the spacing is 108 (iirc) rather than 100, so no it wont work

Yep Hugh's right... the 300 series 4x100 is a very common fitment though.

All but the very last of the '40' rims look pants anyway - they must have thrown out the (tasteful) 400 series alloy design team and replaced them with blind folk!
