I've just took one out of my car and replaced it with a welded one, it's complete with the 4 speed box, but I'm in Carlisle. Let me know if you need it.

I could strip it of the gear box to make it lighter and package it for you if you, if you want to organise a courier, they can collect it from my work. I'll probaby scrap it if you don't need it, I haven't got much storage space free!

yer stripping is the best idea but will it fit a 5 speed 340 its a 1989 1.4

4 speed wont fit a 5 speed.
I have one here from a 1.4 if you need one? Done 160k but didnt whine. Came out of my grey car.

£40 and i'm in swansea. Can be weighed if you want to arrange a courier? Diff is in good nick, back plate does not leak and its not rusty. Leaks a small amount from around Driveshaft couplings.
