I foolishly drove onto Bude beach in North Cornwall yesterday, what an idiot! I was pegging it all over the expanse of sand, doing handbrake turns then I suddenly sank deep into the sand! The next hour was spent digging it out and I eventually got free with the tide approaching just some twenty feet away! I circled around the beach building up speed and then absolutely hammered it towards the way I came in, there was a moment when the car was airborn at the top of the beaches ascent to the car park! Im amazed the suspension didnt collapse!!
I WONT BE DOING IT AGAIN...

I know, my cars only insured for £300 so I wouldnt have got a penny from the insurance if it had ended up 30 foot under the sea!!

Re: Car stuck on Bude beach - UK
I got a K reg lancer stuck on a beach once. Was there for hours and thought I was going to have to remove the car's I'd and abandon it, luckyly though some help and a lot of air out of the tyres free'd it up.
