Overnight parts from Japan y0!
Well, ok, Norf rather than Japan, but thats pretty much the same distance away

Genuine 107 Williams ECU, that has been modded at some point in it's life (you can see the ROM has a little window meaning it's a UV eraseable, and has a socket, both of which arn't standard) Thanks for getting it here John
The maps on it are different to what I've seen before, Filthy was told it could well be a Gunnerchip but no proof of such. The map is similar to the first one I was running, but with a snadgers more advance and a lot more fuel at top end. The plus side is it runs 50% less fuel at cruise than the genuine map I'm running atm
Initial notes are that it runs really well on this, the narrow band doesn't continually show "epicly rich duude!" and has progressed to a lovely running light show around the middle showing that it's very close to ideal in most bins. There was a tiny hint of pinking I think, but I can write that out very soon. Happy Chris.
Other than that, I did I bit of Blue Peter engineering over lunch. Took the new ECU, and redid the Chrischip PCB completely so that things sit in sensible places relative to the ECU pcb. Then, printed out a full sized one, and with some sticky back plastic and a washing up liquid bottle, fitted it to the ECU.
That board size appeals a lot more now I've looked at the orig PCB again. The 2 holes in the bottom right are for a USB-B socket and that placement means I'll be able to mill a usb shaped hole in the case. So, access to reprogramming will be there without having to open it up every time
