I`m very interested as I`ve been looking for a good rust free 360 for some years, to join my 344saloon & 360glt (both subject to some of the dreaded tin worm). More importantly I`ve got my wife`s approval (provided I get rid of something - don`t panic a Fiat Panda`s top of the disposal list), & I`ve got the cash!
I could make it to Newcastle next wed or thurs at around 9.30am but would need picking up & taking to the car. If you`re up for this please PM me - just one thing - how do I retrieve a PM? Cheers
i am working on! as my brother in law works for a transporting company and he seeing if there is a lorry up your way this week.
cheers
jeff
good news dude. Let us know.
Megabus is normally the cheapest.
9£ to London from Newcastle one way.
Where you coming from jeff? I work in public transport and might be able to square a decent price.
Top tip: I've picked a car up in Newcastle before and I was travelling from London. (At the time) It was something like £60 for a single. So I bought a cheap day return for £32. Half the battle is working round the the weird and wonderful maze of train fare pricing.
Planes are sometimes cheaper and quicker than trains.
But for total cheapness. Go for the bus. It's hell, but it's cheap.
probs still gunna have it for a few months I hope, but you'll be the first to know when Im going to shift it, difficult to put a price on it cause all the suspension cost me sooooooooo much and it wont of even done 1000 miles since fitted but Im sure I could whip that off and sell it seperate and put new gas shockers all round see what you think when the time comes round though
Thanks James
