hello

Post by mitch_f1 »

Hey all,
Just thought I'd introduce myself. I am Mitchell from downunder in Sydney. I guess I might be one of the few Aussie's on the forum (AUSTRALIA REPRESENT). I have followed this whole 2360 thing since reading about a couple of drifters in Budget Performance Car or whatever that magazine is called. Thought it a great idea, and have wanted one ever since. You pommies are very lucky though; you got the 2 door 340, we only got the 4 door 360 here. And they are few and far between, with most cars being beaters. What do you guys do with your cars? Is it mostly drifting that the cars are modified for, as said article has lead me to believe? How do you guys mod your car? I guess there is little to no aftermarket accessories, so you all must be pretty spectacular at fabrication. What is the stud pattern of the 360s, is it 4x100, or 4x108?

Yeh, I don't have a 360...yet...I have a MX83 Cressida Grande, and a NA6 MX5, which is my track car. Pics of both go here:

Anyway, enough of all that, I will discretely move back into the shadows and lurk until I have the space in my garage for a 360, and have more questions for you all.

Them Meshs would indeed look good on a 300...

Problem is for drifting they need modifying quite a lot imho... and to do it properly isn't cheap either. If that's what you're into stick with the MX5, I had a 1.8 one not long back and it's far better set up for that sort of thing, plus it helps that there's a wealth of aftermarket parts! As a retro road car however, the 360's are great but parts can be problematic even in the UK!
