A few bits and bobs.

Post by Sliderman » 05 Mar 2010 10:15 am

I've got a proper 300 series cassette holder (slots into the dash storage compartment) in v.g.c. I have no idea what it's worth so I'm open to offers if anyone wants it.

I've also got a set of good condition door strips if anyone wants them. Collection from Derby.

F7p with ancillaries and loom. No specified mileage but I the head is off and it looks to have minimal wear. All painted and clean, 2 exhaust and 2 inlet manifolds, 1 downpipe. 250 squids (again, collection from Derby)

Koni red adjustable dampers, 1 front needs a re-build (was quoted 35 squids), the rears I believe are from a Mk2 escort with brackets fabricated to fit. 150 squids. (you know the score by now.)

Set of Mk2 escort 2" lowering blocks. Brand new, in box. 20 squids.

Set of VW plastic arches, trimmed to fit a 360. Few marks, not mint. 15 squids. *SOLD*

Rear washer assembly, pick it up and it's yours.

Sun roof (360 GLT but may fit others?) 10 squids.

Boot catch. 5 squids.

GLT spoiler. 40 squids. *SOLD*

Vauxhall Frontera intercooler (fits nice on a 360). 25 squids.

Set of sun visors. Good condition. 10 squids.

Handbrake gaitor. Good condition. 5 squids.

Prices can be discussed.

Squid = 'quid' one of your finest British pounds.

I can't help it. There's a cockney midget living in my left frontal lobe.

It's a noun which could be defined as follows........ Any one of numerous species of ten-armed cephalopods having a long, tapered body, and a caudal fin on each side.

I would guess in the original post it refers to quid, which is slang for the UK £.

Hope that helps.

Sorry, arches are now sold, the boot catch is both parts (the eye that bolts to the body, and the catch that connects to the lock), I'm not sure how else to describe it. :|
