Mk1 1.7 440 Turbo, currently off the road since 2006. Just needs a few bits and bobs sorting out for M.O.T. Got a bit side tracked on 300's again! Nice to drive but annoyingly FWD, feels quick to drive as you are sat on the floor

, 120mph easy (not on the public highway of course

). Not got that 70's look about it like the old 300, but already the early 90's is starting to feel quite retro and like a long time ago! Last of the square ones.

Since I'm back to two cars, I guess the S70 is now my 'other car'. Very much in auto flatter mode...

Y'know I'm not all that keen, but they look better than the original 15's it would've come with. They're nice but they're a bit overly fussy for the car imo, the 5 spoke Comet's on the R's look much better on them

Nice

440 Turbos before the facelift (which was awful IMHO) are really hard to find over here ...

Isn't that 77-83 targa SC which is probably not overly common compared to some Boxter car?

Heres a reduced size picture as the screen keeps missing the edges of photos, its a 1976/7 car 'R' reg

Very nice

, it had appeared when we can back out of the pub.
This also turned up in the same car park

You're doing it wrong! One of my Comets took a vague glance at a pothole, and is now banana shaped. I'm thinking of ditching the Comets...they assure baller status, no doubt...but they appear to be made of butter, and are almost impossible to find second hand (except in complete sets). Considering Canistos (from a C70), or back to Propus Cs...for their strength and BBS sexyness.
I've got quite a few 300s...but my "others" not being scrapped are...
