Ok all, ive wondered this for a while, but never asked as its such a NooB question.

When you post a link, how do you make the link display in a post as a single word eg
'link' or 'click here' ?

been bothering me for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages.

you play with the url addins next to "normal"


volvosneverdie

you type whatever you want and place it within the url blocks
[ url ] volvosneverdie [/url ]

after that, you ad the www link like this
[ url=www.volvo.nl ] volvosneverdie [/url]

cut the spaces out of that and you get this displayed on the forum:
volvosneverdie

i do have to say that it's even easyer at v3c, we have a special button for it! just select the words you want, click on the button; type the www link and select ok and you're done!

Ah thanks Anjo. I thought it was the URL button, but couldn't work out where to paste the link, our put the title.
