Hello Mike

that's a nice piece of MY83 equipment you have there! you must have lowered it on the rear with the dual leafsprings? i dualleafed my 340turbo and with 7cm lowering it sits 1cm higher than original

Damn damn, I've wanted to put them wheels on a 300 for a long while. It looks as good as I'd imagined! Very nice, glad to see this car didn't get broken up!

It is yeah, its mainly just a case of popping on all the parts and turning the key, an ideal project really :D
Just taking my time on it, when I do have some spare time! Just moved and everythings up in the air at the moment.

Hello and welcome Mike

Can't really say anything thats not been said before but yes, thats hella cool!
Bringing me round to the idea of putting my 15's on, as i really can't be bothered to roll my rear arches for clearance as they are so rust free.

Look forward to moar pics :340:

More pics.

Image

Was pretty much just a case of cleaning up around, getting minimal amounts of grease off, Dez had gotten most of it before i got my mits on there.

Image

The rust in the bay is to be repaired as part of the deal, so that will be done, smoothed, but may paint the bay, unsure on what colour as of yet, perhaps just a solid black?

Image

Pre Mims, x1 melber, And +1 dog.

Image

rear suspension setup, Will get a pic of the front jacked up, as it lifts the entire side! Hard just doesnt describe it.

so, twin leaf, 3" lowering block, pro comp landy shock, WIN.

Shame i didnt get any pics of the engine going in, but, thats cause it was so quick! Really went ideally, couldnt ask for a better swap!

Image

Image

Then came later on, i had purchased a couple of sets of wheels (which are up for sale, but saw it was pointless putting them on here as their all wrong offset!)

Image

Very weak.

Image

But as it stands, thats all thats been done for the minute.

Additional jobs so far.

Cleaning out the inside of the inlet, it was absolutly hanging! i'd recommend checking the inside of the inlet of any f7p.
Rear break lines, original volvo quality with the original brake lines i believe!!
Engine mounts, What a pain in the backside, cut down a bolt to fit the mix of renault and volvo mounts.
Prop on, Done :D
tighten up all the loose bolts dez had left for me!

To do,

Driveshafts
Loom - Waiting for it to come back from 340GLT Aswell as a speed sensor and fuel pump!
coolant pipes.
Interior

So, not much to do, but will be finishing alot of bits after its got an MOT and on the road.

I'll be sure to take moar pics from now on!

All sweet :D
