Re: Speedy88's The Tardis: Got any gear?

In other news, been trying out a new map from Chris. Returning 35mpg on normal town driving with small spurts of aggressiveness. Also, I've decided to give in and finally get a stainless exhaust system made. Not a big wad of money I really wanted to spend but at least once it's done, it's done forever.

Bit dirty, that's mostly volcanic ash still  Went for the medium loudness, nice and quiet when motorway cruising but a nice sound when I boot it. Everything feels a lot smoother when applying power, not had a chance to see how much hp I've unleashed though :) It cost an ungodly amount but it's got a lifetime garuntee

Yeah delivery is much much more smooth, it's 2 or 2 1/4, can't remember exactly. I'd get a vid but I've only got a cameraphone. One day soon I'll have a decent camera so I'll remember to do a video then.

do it! It's well worth it. Got a few knocks today because I think the metal has expanded and moved a bit - they said this would happen and that they will adjust it for free forever :D Another pic because I'm a whore:

Looking good that is.

Seeing yours i've no idea why i went for a side exit barring the looks, i thought it would give more ground clearance but that is clearly not the case, when my stupidly slow PC speeds up a bit i'll put my new and improved lower pics up, clearance is going to be an issue, as it tyre to arch scrubbing.

Whats the matter with the car i'm driving can't you tell that it's out of style?

Really?
On a 340?
360s (or mine anyway) always had zorst knock issues, but I thought 340s were meant to be plain sailing.
How old are the shocks man?
Im guessing theres still plenty of life in them like.

Yeah deffinately going to be arch rubbing for sure, the tread is right below the inner arch lip, but then thats coz i've got retarded offset wheels and chunky tyres as i just prfer the look of them. Going to get the rear arches rolled, and possibly flared if it's doable, i may tuck the Lotus rims on it, but that will be later when i have some monies.

As i say i'll put pics up in my thread later, when i get in from boarding up windows

Went to Bournmuff last night to see my rally nav/old housemate Rich who some of you know. He's been keeping me updated of 300 spots, seemingly there is a nice red '40 driven by a lass and the latest one he's seen is a silver saloon, E711 something.

He was upset when he waved at it the other day and got no response, so I asked what he was driving so I could pass the message on. He wasn't, he was walking.

So bud, if you see a slightly lanky blonde chap waving at you there is a reason

Haha! Probably in a world of my own, tell him sorry, I'll wave next time. Also Chris, are you certain you get enough miles out of 99RON to justify buying it? Not seen a massive difference yet, I'll have to do some calculations.

It really seems to vary tbh. If I am doing runs that arn't motorway (i.e. A31 to Guildford atm with roundabouts) I do get better. However, round town I don't seem to see it and I havn't tested on a motorway properly yet. It needs moar testing but I'm pretty sure I do better.

99RON might have less ethanol than other variants, or at times it might have less. Ignition timing could give bit extra when using 99RON.
