360GL, strut top mounts and some other stuff

Post by jtbo »

So, I think that it is time to get 360 moving once and for all, I put list of parts that I need, then we can curse how postage is a killer, however hopefully on some items it would not be a killer.

So I need strut top mounts, ones that have no cracks in rubber, that is one important piece I'm currently missing and without them can't get car trough MOT.

Then that front beam/tube that goes side to side at front side of engine, mine is rusted so need new one without extra holes in it, this one is also important, also MOT stopper.

Rest of list is not so important, but need them at some point.

Spare engine (B200K) would be nice, but can't pay a lot from one, postage is probably quite a lot from such and it is quite difficult object to send over.

3dr version right side (driver side in UK) door outer skin and bottom, left side door needs bottom, these used to be available as parts, but probably are no more, whole door is possible too, but here again postage is probably a killer.

Ambient temp gauge and vacuum meter would be nice too, but I don't know if I can afford those too

This location is bit bad for majority of board members, but maybe it is possible to work out something.

Broken strut top mounts, need ones that are not broken:

... do you mean the first part I'm talking about here?

I won't be going down south for a while, but I can ask the guy to hold it back (if that's the part you mean, anyway). I don't mind posting it for you.

Cheers

Yes, that is the part in question, price there sounds fine, what do you think postage will be?

If it's the size I think it is, postage to Finland would be 33,20 € But the chap won't post - I had to drive the 500km to pick up the louvre - and I won't be in the area again for a while. How fast do you need it?

EDIT: how about trying Danny from Dafhobby.nl? I know they sometimes post items from Germany to keep the postage costs down ...

Cheers

Time is not an issue, one month is just fine, two months is ok too, maybe then snow will melt and I can actually move car so I can start working with it, it is stuck now, summer tires, lot of snow

I hope to get car going somewhere around 6th month (over two months time now), not much earlier, financial and practical reasons for that. Postage is quite bit, but it is ok, can't be helped. Could be that more stuff comes with almost same price, so we keep eyes open :D
