Re: The Family! [we need your pictures!!]
To be honest, the 300 series as standard hardly set the pulse racing...so upgrades are pretty popular, and I'd say (in most cases, at least....maybe not super-rare cars) to be encouraged.
Just make it tasteful, and don't wreck the thing...that's what upsets people. Sounds like I'm preaching to the converted, though!
cheers
James

Re: 360 GLT Saloon
It could be one of those 60th Anniversary GLT saloons?brickie501 wrote:Not looked much into the 300 history but I noticed the brochures that came with the car (quite a lot of documentation with it actually) were of "Celebration" models in Volvo's range of the time (1987). Is this one of those?

The ones in the brochure look like they're black, but that doesn't mean they didn't sell them in silver as well ...

Re: 360 GLT Saloon
Different brochures but look like the same models (black again) - perhaps it was Anniversary not Celebration (don't have the booklets with me at present). Thanks for the info; every day's a school day!trabitom99 wrote:It could be one of those 60th Anniversary GLT saloons?brickie501 wrote:Not looked much into the 300 history but I noticed the brochures that came with the car (quite a lot of documentation with it actually) were of "Celebration" models in Volvo's range of the time (1987). I already guessed that judging by your nick and the building style on the background. Typical Australian/New Zealand landscaping and building. Welcome! I love the beige/gold colour, so eighties!kiwswe wrote:Thanks guys, i'm from New Zealand

That looks pretty saucey dude. White is a killer colour on 300s and those wheels suit it down to the ground.Tom bailey wrote:i thought id try an get some pics of mine on iv owned it since last year but didnt hav time to put them on .(not bad for a first car is it)
Much coolness.
