http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=volvo3 ... rt=20&sa=N

It's gone wrong, trying to post a link to to something, help!

http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=FgEA ... &q&f=false

Think it's worked this time :?:

Looks like it's American and written around the time when they were deciding whether to export there or not

I tried it.... once. Never again. Lost it when slowing down and did an unintended reverse turn ending up facing the right way after bouncing off a wire fence at college. (Private road). Little damage to car but passenger and driver a little shaken  Must have got up to 40+ before bottling it too. I'd imagine you could easily flip a car trying this anywhere with kerbs or grass verges, don't try this one at home kids :P

Yeah, quite crazy pipe adverts there, also there was nice Evinrude advert, pull such these days and army of feminism followers would make whole company to run out of business, those old days when man could be a man and everything had clear place

Quite impressive how there was already then people installing solar collectors for water heating, such things are still in hands of few pioneers, talk about slow progress.

Also I found nice piece of text there that did say how natural cycles in climate are causing food shortage in near future, remember that during that time there was very cold weather patterns for several years, only thing they have changed is that now they claim you are in fault and depending from year reason for disaster is hot or cold, this spring it was that cold winters are because of you evil motorist, two years ago it was like there will be no snow because of you evil motorist, kind of eats all credibility away from them.

But cars in that magazine are incredible nice looking and also most of stuff is somehow much interesting than today's "call dealership if big red button does not do the thing" articles

I have spent two days reading that magazine alone now, would not happen with any modern trash

Not looked at the rest of the thing till now, to find the cig. advert! I like the sound of a laser beam digital watch :P (page 9). I'm afraid I do remember my first digital watch, and yes, I was very impressed by the back lit display. It was as good as having a James Bond gadget to a 9 year old in 1979  The 1970's was an exiting time to be young!! I really thought we'd have a moonbase by 1999 (remember TV show Space 1999 :D ) Instead of spaceships by 2001 we had a man in a cave attacking America with planes, and all the rest of the crap, political/commercial and environmental (whatever side your on!).
