I sold my Mini Cooper S Clubman and bought this. I can't drive a car if it's too new.

1989 360GLT (naturally)

1969 VW Type One (1300 deluxe) - much work to come (owned her for 17 years)
1976 VW Type 2 Viking (more the wifes)
1987 340GL (whats left after the taxi said hi - due to head for the 300 series afterlife, watch this space for parts)
2001 V70 T5 (Wifes daily runner)
2003 S60 D5 (My daily runner)

Part responsibility of a 1997 Ford Transit 120 (ex-BT)

I think thats the lot at the moment, of course if a P1800S rolls along who knows

Nice, Ben. I've always liked those cars since they first hit the streets in the 80's.

Slush-box is OK, once you get used to it and stop hitting the brake as if it's a clutch

Means you cruise, easy - with just occasional kick-down madness. Maybe it's just because I'm knocking on 40...

Yep, 'interesting' is one way of describing the body mods - not done by me - but since she's never going to be 'concours' I'm not worried about 'playing'

Unfortunately, she's been stood for a while and despite a lot of tinkering a couple of weeks ago currently won't start :(

You wanted more pics ... here's a couple:

Just noticed this. Very nice - early 700 saloons look superb - a bit of missing trim here, a scratch and a dent there, suit these cars right to the ground ;-) Hope it treats you well!

Its got a lot more exterior trim missing now Tom.
I removed the rest to give the car a more even ballance on the twisty roads.
And the added lightness is probably good for anothe 6hp I recon.
