I will sort something to hold the tank better soon, but that does the job for now.

You could use a smaller air tank, but thats the only one i could find to buy after a fair bit of looking with out having to get it shipped from america. Its about 24 liters, i didnt think it was that big to be honest. I was going to adapt an old gas tank which would of been smaller but more work so just brought that one. The wiring is pretty simple, theres two valves on the horns that when i flick a switch open one shortly after the other to give a two tone sound.valman wrote:WIN!!!!!!
must admit, although i really want a stupidly loud horn in my car for the shits and kicks, such a big air tank seems too OTT![]()
how is it wired up atm? just a simple switch that lets air into the valves then makes the sound or more complicated than that?
Il look in to that to see if theres room cheers for the idea.volvodspec wrote:i'd mount them behind the front bumper; enough space to keep them away from direct moisture as they are now and even louder for people outside![]()
and another advantage is that you can fit the spare tyre in the engine bay again
Haha, I like that.Hell Driver wrote:Honest officer, it's an L.P.G tank
Already scared the crap out of a escort full of chavs that did just that, oh so satisfying.Speedy88 wrote:I'd hate to cut you up

Hahaha, i have blown them down in the below ground bit of the moto car park a little out side of bridgwater. The sound was insane, when i come out there were loads of people looking out the travel lodge windows to see what it was hahahaha.volvosneverdie wrote:That may register on the Richter scale dude.porky wrote:

True will have to go taunton some time when its really busy and set some friends about with cameras. And i will get one in the bottom of the multi-storeywhen i can.Speedy88 wrote:The problem with video is you can never really tell how loud it is as cameras automatically adjust volume. The only true way is to do it somewhere with echos or reacting parties at varied distances
I dont mind, got more info on your set up?alf wrote:I hope that Porky doesn`t get upset because i`ll post here:
